Walk in My Shoes is a unique and powerful programme designed to help people understand each other better, break down barriers, and work together to build a more cohesive and anti-racist Wales.
We are creating free training and learning resources in multiple languages — including English, Welsh, Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Dari and Pashto — so that everyone can learn, connect, and feel included.
So far, we’ve developed two practical toolkits:
🔹 The Empathy Toolkit Helps people see the world through the eyes of asylum seekers — to understand their pain, resilience, and hopes by truly walking in their shoes.
🔹 The Anti-Racist Wales Toolkit Explains key ideas such as what racism is, the difference between being “not racist” and “anti-racist”, and how we can all take meaningful action to make Wales fairer and more just for everyone.
